Algiers, a city of New Orleans, is located across the Mississippi River on the West Bank. Below are hotels located on the West Bank. There are also numerous hotels in Downtown New Orleans and around the airport.
Uber and Lyft are available to get around and from the airport. The Regional Transit Authority (RTA) Streetcar and buses have many routes around the city. The Canal Street Ferry, located at the foot of Canal Street, will cross the river to Algiers for a fee of $2 (cash only) each way.
